this morning, I meant to
check my bank balance
but
with the time I had
wrote a poem
instead

  1. Sounds just like me! How do we persuade ourselves to do these necessary but less inspiring things?! But the writing of a poem has its own urgency and it’s an imperative that should never ever be ignored. Or so I think! Keep up with the poems and the bank balance will take care of itself.
