Party Girl Dawn

Pale pink chiffon clouds
tossed anywhere across the sky
luminous party girl
traipsing home
tired and happy, trailing
soft pink fur, feathered boas
soft sound as they fall and
shake the world awake
on her way to bed.

  1. One of your best. Lovely! I’ll never think of sunrise clouds the same way again.

  2. Thank you for the encouraging words, dapplegrey. And for Invisible Horse, which always leads me to look at the world a new way.
