Bloom Here

In the overgrown school courtyard
full of the world’s tallest dandelions,
rocks, vines running wild, and pink tulips
that didn’t know any better than to
try and grow here
This spring
surprising and beautiful as
tulips in the weeds
a crop of ducklings
and one vigilant momma.
